Hello everyone, how are your summer days going? I know some places are really hot this summer but in London we are immensely enjoying this sunny day. So, taking the vibe of this sunny afternoon, we recently had to go to a special place in the center of London called The Garden At 120. So, I am going to talk about my afternoon experience at The Garden At 120.
So what is The Garden At 120? Basically, The Garden At 120 is a rooftop garden; from there, you will get a panoramic view of London. This is one of the few public rooftop gardens in London that is free to enter; no pre-booking is required, which makes it super convenient.
It has a variety of Mediterranean and temperate plants that create a green oasis and urban environment. And the best part? Amazing 360-degree views of famous London landmarks like the Tower of London, the Shard, The Sky Garden, and others up from this vantage point. It was an unforgettable image. Its winding walkway leads visitors through planted areas, seating zones, and lookout points.
The use of natural materials like wood and stone, combined with sleek glass balustrades, creates a welcoming atmosphere. Though the Garden was designed to be enjoyed throughout the year, in the warmer months, the Garden became more vibrant and bloomy.
I have posted some photos and videos on Instagram; you can take a vibe of what I have felt there. It feels so special at sunset when the city is bathed in a golden glow. My mind is very tempted to know how it feels at sunrise as it remains close at that time.
The environmentally conscious Garden allows me to sit back and relax beside the water flow channel and enjoy the views regardless of the season. This visit was more like a trip to a rooftop garden that combines natural beauty with innovative design and breathtaking views of the unique perspective of the cityscape.
Another beautiful hidden place is located just below this building. I noticed it from the top of the Garden. You have to go down from the building and go to the Fin Court, which is next to the building. For this reason, the Garden is known as “Fin Court Garden”. The specialty of the Garden is that people can relax, socialize, and pursue cultural pursuits here. A notable installation is “The Garden Of Floating Words”. Its poetry adds a magical ambiance to the Garden, especially at night. I am planning to publish an entire article about this Garden and want to attend any cultural event related to it personally. Let me know if you are willing to have another separate article about this Garden.
Now, some practical questions are where it is or what the opening time is! You will find the Garden in the center of London, 120 Fenchurch Street, EC3M5BA, on the top floor of a 15-story office building. It remains open from 10 am to 9 pm in summer and 10 am to 6.30 pm in winter. Though there might be some alternative rules, please keep an eye on our social handles; we try to give current updates there.
